This limited Custom Shop version of Fulltone’s iconic OCD circuit delivers the legendary open, amp-like overdrive character of the original while adding the warmth, touch sensitivity, and dynamic response of germanium clipping. Featuring two MOSFETs and two germanium diodes, the OCD-Ge offers a more tube-like feel, enhanced sustain, increased harmonic richness, and a wider dynamic range compared to standard OCD versions. From transparent boost and edge-of-breakup tones to thick, responsive overdrive and singing lead sustain, this pedal captures the feel of a driven amplifier while retaining excellent clarity and note definition.
