About Frequency Co.

Frequency Co. is a husband-and-wife–owned music shop rooted in faith, community, and a deep love for music.

Founded by Bryson and Taylor shortly after their marriage in 2021, Frequency Co. was built with the intention of serving the local church, musicians, and the greater DFW community with excellence, integrity, and care.

What began during COVID in our 750 sq. ft. apartment quickly grew into something much bigger. In the early days, we were buying and selling boutique guitars, building pedalboards on our kitchen counter, and offering setups and repairs for local musicians.

From day one, Frequency Co. was a true mom-and-pop operation — personal, hands-on, and driven by relationships. As demand grew, so did the vision. In 2024, we opened our first brick-and-mortar location on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth.

Supported by incredible investors, mentors, friends, and family, we stepped forward in faith to build God’s business with the goal of serving our community through quality instruments, reliable backline services, and thoughtful music education.

Today, Frequency Co. remains focused on the same things that shaped our beginning: quality gear, honest work, and helping musicians find exactly what they need.

Meet Bryson

Bryson is a guitarist, bassist, and Music Director at his local church, with years of hands-on experience in guitar maintenance and repair, pedalboard builds, and backline services. His attention to detail and commitment to doing things the right way define his work. Bryson believes in excellence over shortcuts and approaches every instrument and project with care, precision, and respect for the musician using it.

Meet Taylor

Taylor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a concentration in voice from the University of North Texas (B.M., General, Choral, and Instrumental Music – Choral/Vocal). She has seven years of experience teaching music, working with a wide range of ages and skill levels. Taylor specializes in teaching beginners and is known for her ability to make complex musical concepts approachable and easy to apply. Her teaching style blends classical foundations with contemporary methods, creating a welcoming and effective learning environment. Outside of teaching, Taylor sings and plays piano on her local church’s worship team, writes songs, and enjoys playing contemporary pieces. When developing Frequency Co. Lessons, Taylor leaned into a core belief: it’s never too late to learn music. One of her greatest joys is creating a space where all students feel encouraged, supported, and truly seen. It's never just about the music, it is always about the whole student.
