Notes: The 2015 Fender GC FSR Deluxe Precision Bass Special (2015) in Sunburst is a limited-run instrument that combines classic Precision Bass styling with modern tonal flexibility and upgraded performance features. It features a contoured alder body finished in a gloss Sunburst urethane, paired with a modern “C”-shaped maple neck and a standard 34" scale length for familiar feel and balanced string tension. The fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and 20 medium jumbo frets, offering smooth playability across a wide range of styles. Its versatile electronics include a split-coil Precision Bass middle pickup and a Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass bridge pickup, controlled by independent volume knobs and a master tone control, allowing for everything from deep, punchy low-end to articulate, growling mids and clear highs. Hardware includes a 4-saddle HiMass-style bridge for improved sustain and stability, sealed Fender tuning machines, and knurled flat-top control knobs, reinforcing its blend of vintage-inspired aesthetics and contemporary performance as part of Fender’s Guitar Center Factory Special Run lineup. This Bass appears to have had a gnarly fall at some point and there is a split/gash in the body that is stable is large, along with general play wear, some warping in the pick guard, and some other dings and marks on the back of the bass. The price reflects the cosmetic issues but is still a great bass.
