Notes: The Dr. Z Remedy 40 is a hand-wired 40-watt tube amplifier head designed to capture the punch, harmonic richness, and dynamic response of classic British-style amplifiers while delivering the reliability and craftsmanship that Dr. Z Amplification is known for. Built in 2010, this all-tube head features a straightforward and highly responsive control layout with Treble, Middle, Bass, high and normal blend controls, 4, 8, and 16 Ohm outputs, with a half and full power toggle allowing players to move effortlessly from articulate cleans to thick, harmonically rich overdrive with exceptional touch sensitivity. Powered by a quartet of 6v6 power tubes the Remedy produces tight low end, complex mids, and smooth top-end detail ideal for classic rock, blues, Americana, and dynamic pedal platforms. Its hand-wired construction, robust transformers, and simple signal path provide outstanding reliability and pure tonal character, while the half and full power toggle design makes it capable of both stage-level punch and controlled studio saturation. Finished in classic black tolex with a signature Dr. Z styling, this amp delivers vintage-inspired feel with modern consistency and clarity. Amplifier is in excellent condition with a few scratches on the corner guards.
