This Fender American Vintage Reissue (AVRI) Stratocaster is a classic take on the legendary 1956 Stratocaster. It delivers all the chime, clarity, and unmistakable tones you'd expect from a '50s-style Strat, while incorporating a few tasteful player-focused upgrades for enhanced playability without sacrificing its vintage character.

It features an alder body finished in a beautiful Black Thin Skin lacquer, a maple neck with a chunky Soft V profile, Fender American Vintage '56 Reissue Stratocaster single-coil pickups, a 5-way blade switch, 250k CTS pots with vintage-style paper capacitors, a white pickguard with aged cream plastics, and includes the original Fender tweed case complete with all the original case candy.

This Strat is all original with the exception of a professionally performed refret using slightly larger frets, a new bone nut, and Schaller strap locks. The guitar is an absolute featherweight at just 7.5 lbs and is remarkably loud and resonant acoustically. It is genuinely a special instrument, both visually and sonically.

The guitar is in Very Good to Excellent condition, showing only small dings and light scratches throughout from honest playwear. The most notable wear is located on the lower bout (shown in Image 15), where the guitar rests on your lap. There are a few scratches, dings, and finish chips in this area that expose the bare wood. All wear is purely cosmetic and does not affect the guitar's playability or structural integrity.

The guitar is currently set up with .010-gauge strings and plays exceptionally well, ready for years of inspiration and enjoyment.
