Notes: This beautiful Martin D-41 Custom was built in 1981 for Melody Shops and is 1 of 12. The guitar features a spruce top, indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard. The guitar is in amazing shape with no top cracks, loose braces, or bridge lift. The guitar has been reviewed by Travis Wade of Wade Guitars here in Fort Worth - his findings were some minor lift on the center seam binding on the back, the top was solid. The neck underwent a neck reset to bring the action down making it more playable, its currently sitting right above .09 inches at the 12th fret giving it a nice medium action. The guitar has some killer case candy with it as well, a letter from Martin authenticating the guitar and rarity of the instrument, a matching strap, some songs written by the original owner, a cool pin and serial number chart. The guitar sounds and plays amazing and is ready for its new home.
